Our Story

Since 2018, Phillip has been growing and manufacturing anti-inflammatory herb blends to help with his own chronic pain and inflammation. We believe much of people’s health issues are directly related to inflammation in the body caused by many things. Peppercorn Farms is making it a priority to help fight those issues while providing a way to make cooking and eating at home fun, exciting and delicious.

Peppercorn Farms makes our products in house from plants grown hydroponically without pesticides or other harmful chemicals. Our goal is to provide the freshest produce year-round to manufacture the highest quality products.

So, what makes us “Modern and Sustainable” you ask…

As mentioned above, our produce and herbs are grown hydroponically. Meaning, the plants are grown 100% soilless. All the plants nutrients are added to the filtered water, specifically for the plants grown. The plants roots are then able to grow suspended in air or clay pebbles. This growing technique is more modern than traditional growing because of how efficient it is. We are able to either recycle or reuse virtually all water for the plants, this translates into no run-off/pollution for the environment. Additionally, since hydro farming requires more electricity to operate pumps, fans and chillers; we have been supplementing that energy use with solar power. By using solar panels with onsite power banks to store unused electricity, we are able to ensure everlasting energy that is not limited to grid conditions. This allows us to reduce our carbon footprint while at the same time be self-sustainable and provide Peppercorn Farms locations in the most remote locations of Michigan to better provide fresh produce to all communities.
